Susan Gilster, PhD, RN, created the vision for The Gilster Group after a lengthy healthcare career as a practitioner and healthcare project development manager, nationally and internationally. A pioneer, Dr. Gilster was responsible for the development of the Alois Alzheimer Center, the first dedicated dementia facility in the United States. For over 25 years Susan and her colleagues have created effective practices and programs for individuals with dementia as well as their families.
